IDEO relaxed or under pressure


Managing creativity and innovation is an important aspect of effective strategic leadership as it helps create the ultimate outcome of the productivity of the organisation. Its good to encourage the workers to put in work as if they are doing fun stuff, rather then having them do it because they will be scolded or they won't get rewarded.
The ideo leader, Dave Kelly is not really a boss to me, he works in a team or group of people whom he can call 'buddies'. they have ideas, suggestions and discussions in a lateral/linear work environment.

There are a lot of differences between the IDEO case study and the others I have looked into over the past few weeks.(NASA-MADONNA-NHS)
1, A Relaxed and playful atmosphere (IDEO) Vs a strict and stern working environment (NASA--NHS)
2, Flat working environment (IDEO) Vs hierarchical working environment

3, Communication between all members of staff (IDEO) despite job role Vs lack of Communication amongst staff (NASA--NHS)

4, Formal (NASA--NHS) Vs Informal (IDEO): in terms of dress codes, office layout, communication styles, and even the timing (is it a typical 9-5) 

5, Contrast in their Sense of ethics Vs Lack of Ethics in organisations
6 the various organisations i have studied over the past few weeks react under pressure in different ways,...relax under pressure (IDEO) Vs crack under pressure (NASA--NHS).
